Wooow...

It has been such a long time since the last post. Lots of things have happened since then.

H has lost two more teeth. One at the dentist and another to a hotdog. We believe the hotdog won in the case of the misterious disappearance of a tooth.

C has done the psychological test to enter primary school with great success. Still he was a bit nervous when we went to pick up the results. Nevertheless, he was accepted to the same school as his sister.

We also went on several vacations, from the hometown of Solo to Hongkong and Lombok. All went well and we returned happy and refreshed.

Pictures coming up.

The toothfairy has come!

H has lost two of her teeth to the dentist last weekend. Her permanent teeth have made an appearance, but those woobly milkteeth just didn't want to go. So we went to the dentist to have those wobbly members removed.

What a relieve to H. As these teeth have started to hurt.

But then came the big question about the toothfairy. M explained that the toothfairy was only a fairytale and the Moms were the ones who exchanged tooth for money.

"Will you do it for me, Mom?"

During our last visit to Solo, we went to visit the homeland of the Java Man, Museum Manusia Purba Sangiran.

C really wanted to visit this museum, since he has been fascinated with fossils and dinosaurs for some time now. He has books on this topic and reads them everyday.

Excited by the prospect of seeing fossils, we arrived at the site. The museum was divided into several rooms. The first room in the museum showed fossils of the Java Man, Crocodiles and Buffalos that were found in Sangiran area. The second room showed the digging process itself. Here we could learn how fossils were found and dug. The third room was about the Java Man. Replicas of the Java Man and the way he lived was the main item of this room.

However, it turned out that the Java Man looked scary to C. He was scared throughout the museum tour. Such a pity..

Now this is a very late post.

H has finally begun elementary school. She is a very proud first grader. Her first day of school was celebrated with a ceremony from the school. They even released baloons.

H is really happy at the new school, the only challenge is having to wake up so early and facing Jakarta's traffic.

Graduation Day!

H has graduated from Kindergarden is officially a primary school student. We are very proud of you, H!!! 💞

The graduation ceremony was held at her kindergarden and was followed by a play and dance performance by all Madania children.

We had a great time in Germany. We visited relatives, we explored castles and palaces, we said 'Hi!' to the dinosaurs.

Thank you all. Surely we will come again.

Auf Wiedersehen!
