Of course, we had to visit palaces and castles.. imagining we were princesses...

We had to see in person where they lived in those old times. We were excited on how beautiful the home of princesses were. As a modern day princess, H wanted to visit palaces and castles and made it part of our vacation agenda.

It was C's big dream to go to a dinosaur museum. He just loves dinosaurs... He loves to play with his dinosaur toys and read his book about them, too.

So we went to a museum that had dinosaurs. Although it was not only dinosaurs, but he was happy none the less. And of course he wanted us to take a picture of him and the Pterodactyl. A dream come true...

Everytime somebody asks him what he did in Germany, his first answer would be that he went to a dinosaur museum.

It was a sunny day indeed, our first day in Germany. We had a flat in the same village as Opa and he came to pick us up for a walk to visit my cousin, who lived in the same village as well.

The children especially enjoyed playing in the garden.

This year we took an early vacation to Germany. Pulang Kampung. While H is still in Kindergarden this year, we can still take vacations during low season.
Our first trip as a family to Germany. The first time H, C and P gets to meet the extended German side of the family. Opa they have met before during his visit to Indonesia a few years ago.

H has been able to read and understand the calender for a while now. So when she saw the advertisement for Disney on Ice on television, she asked whether she could go see it. We agreed if she could memorize arabic alphabets.
It was H & C first time ever to see an on ice event. We were very excited about it. The show was great and the kids had a lot of fun...

We loved Belle, Cinderella, Ariel, Snow white, Aurora and the dragon...

Yes, we took the kids to our anniversary dinner. We didn't have the heart to leave them at home...

It was their first fancy dinner and they were very excited about it. The wonderful place and all the cutlery.

And the big bonus was the dessert...

On Madania Day H and her friends performed a dance called kembalikan Baliku. The girls performed on a big stage and did it wonderfully.

H has been taking Ballet classes for almost two years now. She loves her Ballet lessons and her very patient teacher Miss A very much. A few weeks ago she finally had her first public performance. The girls were very excited about it. They danced tari boneka and they did it pretty well too. Amazingly no one had stage fright.

Way to go children! We are very proud of you all!
